Which Test Do You Need?

Checking a New or Used Mouse
Double clicking is the fault mice are best known for, and it starts small: a click that lands twice once in a while. Run the mouse double click test on every button, side buttons included, and keep clicking normally for a minute.
Scrolling that jumps back a line is the other common fault. The scroll wheel test counts every notch, so a worn wheel sensor shows up even when the page barely moves.
